Praying With A Plan
Ephesians 2:1-2 Ephesians 2:1-2 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient
Too often we throw up our hands and say – It isn’t God’s will since it is not happening
- God wills people to be saved
- God wills people to be healed
- God wills churches to be full
- God wills marriages to be healthy

John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come
We have our own diagnostic tool – The Holy Spirit
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Here it is – a powerful weapon that can change a nation
- Not based on what others do
- Not based on the politics of the land
- Not based on the influence of the media
- Not based on the educational system
What is stopping revival and healing from happening in our town?
Joshua 6:1-5 “Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.“
2 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. 3 March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. 4 Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. 5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”
We want to see victory and healing in people’s lives!
- Are we willing to humble ourselves and put in the work?
- Are we willing to seek God and listen to direction of Holy Spirit?
- Are will willing to spend time with people and come alongside of them?
Prayer walk around our city. What to pray for?
- God’s light to shine in darkness!
- God’s revival/ man to reconcile with God!
- For the churches!
- Strongholds of the devil to be broken!
- Healing of relationships!
