THE BIG QUESTION – Which way to heaven?
”Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
So there are “Two Gates”
- Wide Gate
- Narrow Gate
and Jesus tells us in John 10:9:
”I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.”
and in John 14:6,
”Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- Room for everyone
- Whatever you want to choose – it’s here
- No need to change
By default we all start on the wide path
This narrow path has a guide
The higher we go on our spiritual journey the more we see and understand
THE BIG QUESTION – Where does this path lead?
”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
”When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.”
You could say each path has a motto:
- Wide Path Motto – You can do all things through yourself
- Narrow Path Motto – You can do all things through Jesus
